The DarkStar Group is seeking a Software Developer (Systems Software) with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. THE PROGRAM
The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest.
THE PROJECT
The Sponsor's centralized set of tools ensures consistent compliance with classification standards that are configurable and aligned to central policy. Sponsor software products allow users to apply approved classification and control markings to their data. These tools are comprised of classification and control marking values derived from approved policy. The Sponsor requires support in providing these mission critical desktop, web, and email classification tools, to the Sponsor and Sponsor's Partners, on multiple platforms.
THE ROLE
The Contractor Team shall provide optimization, operations, and maintenance of the Tool Suite for all platforms. The Contractor Team shall deliver capabilities as requested by the Sponsor in accordance with approved Sponsor working group requirements. The Contractor Team shall apply approved requirements derived from policy and implement new functionality to products. The Contractor Team shall architect all aspects of the tool suite development and test LAN to the cloud. The Contractor Team shall develop systems architecture artifacts for all phases of tool suite architectures. The Contractor Team shall assist in performing transition and implementation planning for the deployment of new capabilities for the Sponsor and Sponsor's Partners. The Contractor Team shall develop the tool product suite for M365 in an unsecure and secure environment. The Contractor Team shall develop and maintain Products for Sponsor partner agencies on multiple networks. The Contractor Team shall provide Tier 2/3 support, with onsite support during normal business hours (6:00 am to 6:00 pm EST) and on-call support during non-standard business hours. The Contractor Team shall ensure system maintains a 1-hr Recovery Time Objective (RTO). Required Skills
