The Position:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist with technical expertise to support military missions.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $180,000 - $205,000 annually, based upon an individual's level of experience, skillset, and education. The range that is given is an estimate and may vary based on contractual constraints. At AM Pierce & Associates, it is our goal to provide equitable compensation to all employees.

The Description:

In this role, ideal candidates will possess a strong background in data extraction, data cleaning, data visualization, statistical analysis, automation, and metrics development. Knowledge of experiment design, data modeling, and validation of results in operational environments is highly desirable.

Other duties/responsibilities include:Conduct comparative analyses between simulation results and real-world test data.Extract, clean, engineer, and validate data from various sources, including test computers and data stores (warehouses).Develop, test, and refine predictive models to support mission-critical decision-making.Perform statistical analyses and hypothesis testing to derive actionable insights.Create high-quality, visually compelling data visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences.Automate data pipelines and reporting processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce redundancy.Design and implement experiments to support product development and system testing, ensuring reproducibility and statistical rigor.Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate data quality and model performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements and actionable data models.Implement machine learning and advanced data science techniques to enhance data fusion and predictive capabilities.Conduct data quality assessments and troubleshoot data inconsistencies in large and complex datasets.Document technical workflows, maintain detailed records of methodologies, and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.Program in Python, R, or MATLAB with advanced proficiency in at least one, and adapt as needed to additional languages or frameworks (e.g., SQL, C++).Stay informed on emerging data science and analytics methodologies to continuously improve the organization's data capabilitiesEducation & Experience:

Active DoD Secret required. Top-Secret clearance eligibility, desired.Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.Ten (10) years or more of experience

performing duties described in the description.Experience in target tracking, sensor fusion methodologies; preferred.Travel:

On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.
