The mission of this full-time position is to process all new business applications, order medical records, help manage life insurance cases as back up, follow up on submitted policy requests, provides support with inforce business and assists Vice President with administrative duties.

Primary ResponsibilitiesProcesses new business applications for life and disability insuranceDaily scanning of that day's business prior to it going to the Home OfficeCommunicates with the advisors and/or assistants regarding the status of their pending businessAssists with outside carrier business (AIMCOR Crump, CIA and Standard)Provides back up to the new business account managerOrder Medical RecordsFollow Up on Service Requests (policy changes)Provide administrative assistance to the Vice President, Insurance Operations and/or Office ManagerOther duties may be assigned to meet the business needs.

Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.This position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.Work requires attention to detail in such things as composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.Education, Training & Experience (Required)

High School diplomaTwo or more years of experience in an office environmentWorking knowledge of life insurance - preferred, not requiredLicenses & Certifications Preferred (not Required)
