OverviewNa Aliʻi is seeking a Capture Manager to support our Information Technology line of business. This is a new position within the Nakupuna Companies and will report to the IT Managing Directors and the Director of IT Business Development. This individual will support senior leadership, the Business Development team, and project managers to manage and grow the IT line of business. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who promotes collaboration and embraces learning and innovation.

Develop expertise in the acquisition processes of the IT market and advise Nakupuna Companies leadership on the optimal strategies and contract vehicles for winning contracts.

Support the development and achievement of Nakupuna Companies’ revenue targets within IT markets.

Lead capture for complex and technical bids, including identifying and comprehending clients’ requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid.

Build and manage the IT pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities; running capture and developing relationships; developing win strategies and gate briefs; and attending industry events.

Collaborate with Executives, Senior Managers, Project Managers, BD Team Members and SMEs to define and execute our BD Strategy.

Adapt and sustain an efficient and effective business development process from identification through proposal submission and contract kickoff.

QualificationsEducation and Experience:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. A combination of five (5) years of experience in Business Development or IT implementation is required. Experience with DoD (contractor, GS, IT sales, or military) is required. Management or IT related certification is a plus.

Skills/Qualifications:

The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience in the business development cycle. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Working knowledge of Federal contracting industry.

Ability to lead and write technical proposal responses.

Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.

Ability to research, collect, and analyze contract information to inform an approach.

Knowledge of IT implementation concepts, methodologies, and technologies and their uses.

Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.

Knowledge of GWACs, MACs, and 8(a) direct awards is preferred.

End-user knowledge of Salesforce, GovWin, Azure DevOps or Qlik is preferred.

Clearance:

Not required but must be able to obtain security clearance, if requested. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Work Location:

This position reports to our Arlington, Virginia office with 2 days weekly hybrid work.
