System Administrator / Asset Manager

Akima Data Management is looking for a System Administrator / Asset Manager who can join our superior team.
Responsibilities
Develops and implements equipment asset management policies and procedures, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of all equipment assets
Manages equipment inventory and ensures that all equipment assets are properly tracked and accounted
Develops and implements a preventative maintenance program to ensure that equipment assets are properly maintained and repaired
Develops and manages a system for tracking equipment maintenance and repair histories
Ensures that equipment assets are disposed of in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Develops and maintains a budget for equipment asset management activities
Coordinates with other departments to ensure that equipment assets are properly secured and accounted
Develops and maintains monthly asset status
Assists with Information Assurances responsibilities by ensuring classified network assess requests are accurate, complete, and properly prepared for approval and processing after a new user has completed the necessary training
Manages user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory
Receives, proofreads, and processes “TELEGRAMS” for both the Classified and Unclassified networks utilizing the Secure Messaging and Retrieval Tool (SMART)
Updates service support utilizing ITSM tool
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
3-5 years of experience in equipment asset management
Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Strong knowledge of Windows equipment asset management principles and practices
Proven experience in developing and implementing equipment asset management policies and procedures
Good understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Service Now and other relevant software applications
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Pay Range
$100,000 to $115,000
