About the role: The Principal New Markets and Innovation Manager - Peripheral Vascular will lead assessments of new and adjacent markets for the Peripheral Vascular Franchise. This individual will work cross-functionally to ensure early-stage investments in the portfolio are supported by clear strategic and financial rationale. This individual will have responsibility for representing the voice of customer, developing strategies/proposals for technologies and markets, influencing our franchise strategies, developing commercial strategies, and recommending internal and external investments. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Develop comprehensive plans to identify, evaluate, and recommend new and adjacent business opportunities, including sizing market opportunities, assessing customer needs and competitive landscape, understanding technology, and commercial implications Create robust and compelling data-driven business case proposals with clear conclusions and definitive recommendations supported by detailed financial analysis and market insights. Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and business cases for market entry and expansion, considering risk and return factors. Provide ad hoc decision support for critical strategic and operational business decisions within the Vascular franchise. Subject Matter Expert on all data sources to help inform strategy and share best practices with Marketing Strategy Team (claims data, competitive intel platforms, market analysis) Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Marketing, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, Business Development, and/or other functions as appropriate) to execute with speed and quality. Establish relationships with key opinion leaders in the field; analyze and summarize feedback from key opinion leaders, current and potential customers, third party market research and internal stakeholders. Stay abreast of industry developments, clinical and technological advancements to proactively adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (coursework in Marketing, Strategy, Finance preferred) 7+ years of related experience with significant time spent in Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Business Development and/or Management Consulting (healthcare domain preferred) Demonstrated experience conducting assessments of sophisticated markets Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information / ideas / strategies into a cohesive and succinct business plan Demonstrated experience with complex financial modeling, including market, revenue, and investment models, claims and/or EHR data. Strong Microsoft Excel skills Demonstrated ability to create compelling and engaging presentations that effectively communicate recommendations utilizing excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment Demonstrated effectiveness building strong relationships both internally and externally Must have held roles that have consistent exposure to senior leaders on a regular basis Preferred Qualifications: MBA and or PhD preferred 3+ years of upstream marketing, strategy, orrelated experience in developing new products preferred Requisition ID:593833 As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are c mmitted to solving the challenges that matter most - united by a deep caring for human life.
