When you join our organization at Prudential, youll unlock an exciting and impactful career all while growing your skills and advancing your profession at one of the worlds leading financial services institutions.Your TeamAs a Lead, Business Systems Analyst in Enterprise Master Data Management practice, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to improve Master Data Management implementation and consumption across the enterprise. You will act as the primary interface between Technology and specific business areas, identifying business unit requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to deep analytic expertise and experience and technology background, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.Location: Hybrid based out of our Newark, NJ location ( minimum 2 days/week in office for those within a commutable distance to Newark). We will consider virtual work arrangements for those outside the greater NJ area.Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical DayLead in setting ambitious and clear product vision and communicate the story effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team; Looks for opportunities to provide input to the team & coach others with occasional guidanceWorks on solving extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variablesCollaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impactSupport the Product Owner in setting ambitious and clear product vision, and communicating the story effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the teamWork on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologiesWorks on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of often complex variables related to technology and/or data. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters productionEnsure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with product visionContributes to development of the vision and owns key aspects of the product management/roadmap activitiesThe Skills & Expertise You BringBachelor of Computer Science, Data Management, Business Administration or Engineering; Analytics or experience in related fieldsExperience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's businessAbility to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challengesExcellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skillsDeep experience and/or expertise with several of the following:Project/Product Management: Planning, Progress Monitoring and Status Reporting, including visualization of works; Scaling Agile Organizing, synchronizing multiple teams setup Estimations, ROI, project life cycleEffective Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with senior stakeholders. Proven ability to translate complex technical data concepts into clear business language. Excellent documentation skills for creating detailed use cases. Adaptability and flexibility in addressing changing business requirements and prioritiesLeadership & Management Skills: Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with both technical and business stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Industry Knowledge: Experience with industry-specific data standards and data models. Understanding of the business use cases for master data, including customer data, product data, and supplier data management. 8. Project Management & Methodology. Experience with both Agile project methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA. Ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in data-centric projects.Technical Skills: Knowledge of data integration processes (ETL, APIs) and their impact on master data. Solid understanding of data modeling principles, including entity relationships and data hierarchies. Familiarity with cloud platforms and solutions for MDM (AWS, Azure).
