The intern will receive hands-on experience with database management, APIcalls, and software development. The intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with otherinterns, program teams, and senior leadership to build product enhancements and optimizeworkflows. The intern will complete a large-scale project connecting multiple data managementsystems via a custom-built API using Power Automate. This intern will complete the internshipwith enhanced technical skills, problem solving capabilities, and a robust project portfolio.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Identify areas for workflow optimization and build automations as necessary.* Design, build, and test API calls including GET and PUSH requests.* Work with Power Automate to connect our database to our existing business processes.* Address any user inquiries relating to ETO or Power Automate as assigned.* Assist with creating new touchpoints and entities in ETO as necessary.* Assist with batch uploading data into ETO as necessary.LEARNING OBJECTIVES:1. Gain firsthand knowledge of ETO, a primary information system used by HumanitarianNongovernmental Organizations and how it can be used to scale social impact.2. Enhance problem solving capabilities by engaging in solutions architecture in aprofessional setting.3. REQUIREMENTS:* Current graduate student (or having graduated within twelve months of the internship startdate) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.* At least one year of full-time professional experience (internships included) in SoftwareDevelopment, Information Technology, Solutions Architecture, or a related field.* Experience with REST-based API calls such as GET and PUSH requests* Advanced knowledge of Power Automate is strongly preferred.* Experience with other Power Platform tools, such as Power Apps, is a plus but is notrequired.* Knowledge of SAP Business Intelligence is a plus but is not required.* Passion for humanitarianism or other social impact work.Standard of Professional Conduct:The IRC and the IRC workers must adhere to the values and principles outlined in the IRC Way - our Code of Conduct.
