POSITION HIGHLIGHTS The Partnerships Development Manager will grow and strengthen HACE's national network by expanding the HACE partnerships, delivering excellent customer service and engagement to corporate partners and HACE members nationally. Incumbent will be responsible for meeting revenue goals with new partnerships, some account management, membership development, and overseeing the day-to-day aspects of our new partnerships development, working closely with the partnerships team, marketing staff and program managers. Requires domestic travel, 5-10%, flexibility to attend early morning and evening events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development: • Generate and secure new business and partnership opportunities. • Plan, organize and manage all business/partnership development to achieve growth and visibility. • Meet and exceed revenue goals contributing to the overall HACE annual revenue goal. • Create a network of genuine relationships with corporate partners, higher education, government, community leaders, etc. • Increase brand awareness by setting up appointments and ongoing meetings with potential partners. • Participate in regular/daily prospecting activities including but not limited to calls, emails, networking and social media. • Attend regular virtual or in-person networking events to engage potential partners to educate them on HACE. • Serve as the expert on all HACE programs and services. • Work diligently and efficiently in Hubsot to ensure internal development/sales procedures are followed. • Track all leads, opportunities and partner activities (calls and emails) in the CRM – Hubspot. • Ensure all contacts are entered and updated in the CRM – Hubspot. • Work with the Partnerships & Marketing Teams to make use of online marketing tools to generate targeted lead generation. • Work closely with Finance Department on new invoices and deliverable allocations. • Ensure the completion of the sales/development operation life cycle including but not limited to final payments, onboarding, and smooth transition to Finance and Partnerships Teams. • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives and CEO. • Execute short and long-term plans for partners and markets. Ensure that such plans adhere to HACE mission statement of increasing partners’ revenue, strengthening the partnership within them, and also being aligned with HACE overall strategy. • Identify new business opportunities for HACE offering of HACE Products and solutions for assigned partners. • Ability to identify key strategic issues and to generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all HACE programs and services. • View new business opportunities, analyzing partner profiles, products’ profile as well as their strategic moments, with the purpose of offering adequate products to the needs of the partners and in enhancing their relationship with HACE. • Coordinate with the Marketing team actions to strengthen the brand. • Monitor the DEI landscape activities, opportunities, etc. • Prepare quarterly reports that track engagement and progress. • Initiate and develop relationships with academic, governmental, and other non-profit entities to conduct outreach to pre-workforce Latino professionals.

Partnership Management & Program Support:

• In coordination with programs/events team members, support any program logistics (e.g., venue and speaker logistics, communication, registration and outreach to program participants), as needed. • Serve as program alumnae & leadership boards liaison to HACE and HACE partners as needed. • Work with the marketing team in building press, blogger/influencer relationships and make leadership programs a leading brand and thought-leader in the Latinx leadership & diversity space. • Work with program partners to ensure engagement and smooth delivery of program and relevant events, via conference calls, meetings, events, etc., as needed. • Analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback from participants to identify successes and lessons learned. • Collaborate with HACE staff, Board of Directors, HACE Auxiliary Local Board members and the Mujeres de HACE Alumnae Board in planning fundraising events and informational seminars. • Some domestic travel required, 15-25%. • Assist Director of Partnerships & Strategic initiatives to identify prospect companies and create follow up meetings with potential corporate sponsors and participants of HACE related programs. • Contribute to the execution and planning of HACE program training sessions and key events when applicable. • Help to develop compelling marketing messages and campaigns for auxiliary boards and overall.

Community Activation:

• Support HACE’s mission and services by providing volunteer coaching and by serving as a media consultant to its various members and channels. • Serve as a representative of HACE at fundraisers, professional networking events, relevant conferences and college campuses, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience and a strong background in customer service or 5 years of solid sales/development experience, account management experience; consulting, HR or Diversity experience a plus. • Passionate about empowering Latinx community, and creating more inclusive, diverse organizations. • Proven ability in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with minimal direction, entrepreneurial, proactive spirit, like to build things. • Intuitive to partners’ needs. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build & maintain relationships. • Familiarity with CRM and/or Hubspot or willingness to learn. • Ability to work well with others. • Ability to gather, hunt and close new business quickly. • Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage several jobs at one time. • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends. • Seek perspectives from and contribute to considerations of colleagues in other areas of responsibility such as, programs, marketing and organizational strategy. • Have experience working closely with senior leadership, with strong verbal communication and presentation skills. • Exceptional customer relationship skills, with strong project management and execution skills. • Demonstrated experience with online application tools and social media, generating new leads. • Ability to negotiate business/partner agreements and enhance existing and new relationships. • Excellent sales, account management, presentation and strategic planning skills. • Leadership skills and sound business judgment. • Execute effectives development/sales strategies for new products and services. • Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills. • Confidence and ability to effectively create and deliver presentations to all audiences up to the executive levels. • Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Reports to: Director of Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives

Salary Range $60,000-$70,000 Position will require travel 15-25%
