Position Overview: Develop modern full stack software applications using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design principles, development of microservice-based software architectures, and the ability to utilize the most advantageous framework/language to complete the objective and solve technical challenges. The candidate will work as part of an Agile scrum team in the development and integration of infrastructure as code and automation software into fully functional production applications to support Cyber Training capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense. Required Experience/Qualifications
Required Experience/Qualifications: Work with cross-functional teams in an agile based full-cycle development that includes requirements analysis, design, & implementation.
Elevate software engineering standards and assist the engineering team in software system or subsystem development and documentation efforts. Engage in software delivery best practices by implementing/expanding unit tests, integration tests and discussing edge-case trade-offs between productivity and stability Understands and adheres to project schedules and stays within established budgets. Break down complex issues, on both the front-end and back-end, into smaller, manageable solutions. Clearly and effectively communicate problems and solutions with the team, both verbally and electronically Strong object-oriented programming expertise Expertise with JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, React, Angular or other related libraries desired. Experience in Linux shell scripting Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university. Minimum 2+ years applicable software engineering experience.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
Preferred Experience: Experience with containerization of applications (e.g. Docker) Experience with DevOps or CI/CD processes Experience with back-end development, including node.js, web servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.), database servers, etc. Agile development principles Agile team planning tools, such as Atlassian Jira or Azure DevOps Database design
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
This is an onsite position at a CESI Orlando facility. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
