Position Overview:

Under general supervision, carries out operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for IT infrastructure. Performs installations and upgrades, including server rack assembly, monitors and tunes systems. Conducts physical audits of computers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Conducts implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance of server/storage hardware, operating systems and/or applications, and core infrastructure software applications. Responds to user requests providing consulting and support. Monitors open issues and prioritizes tasks based on provided guidance.

This position may require the ability to carry or move up to 50lb.

Required Experience/Qualifications: The best candidates for this position should have most or all the following skills. Applicant is expected to learn and exercise additional skillsets as needed by the organization. Applying systems images to computers for end users Taking images of completed systems for use in later applications Modifying hardware in computers systems, e.g., adding additional hard drives, changing RAM, replacing fans, obtaining keyboards Deploying virtual machines to servers, conducting basic configuration as detailed by product owners and subject matter experts Monitoring systems - directly and/or through dashboards - to execute service before the system hits a failure state, e.g., running out of available storage Recording information into a ticketing system for the sake of inventory management Associate's degree in computer technologies, a related field or equivalent experience, and 2 years of related experience. Special Requirements/Security Clearance:

In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status and a SECRET security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
