Lead the creation and integration of slot games by combining art, animation, sound, and mathematical mechanics into a fully-realized gaming experience. Collaborate within a small, dynamic team of talented artists, animators, and game designers to deliver top-quality gameplay for slot players. Success in this role requires an ability to work efficiently, take direction well, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, integrate, test, and debug software for slot game applications.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of platform hardware, libraries, and operating systems.
Provide insights on game design and scheduling related to software development.
Clearly communicate technical requirements and needs across team members.
Partner with quality assurance engineers to ensure regulatory compliance and on-time product releases.
Develop, document, and share internal systems knowledge, offering feedback on tools and platform improvements.
Secondary ResponsibilitiesMentor junior engineers within the studio and across game development teams.
Create and update documentation for new features, interfaces, and usability guidelines.
Contribute to in-house tool development and provide engineering support.
Stay current with emerging programming techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience within a team setting.
Experience with 2D and 3D graphics programming preferred.
Previous experience in the gaming industry is a plus but not essential.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesEnthusiasm for working in a creative, collaborative environment.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in development tools, including IDEs/compilers, debuggers, profilers, and version control.
Strong command of
C#
or C++ with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with Windows programming, especially in
Unity
and Visual Studio environments.
