Job Summary
The Business Analyst II role within the Foreign Exchange (FX) Trade Support Team provides direct support to FX Sales and Trading desks, managing a range of FX products for a diverse global client base.
This role is essential for overseeing and mitigating operational risks, ensuring accurate trade booking, and delivering excellent client service across the FX trade lifecycle.
The position requires strong relationship management skills, a high degree of accuracy, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport FX Sales and Trading desks and other related business areas, managing FX trades for clients such as asset managers, hedge funds, and central banks.Monitor and mitigate risks throughout the FX trade process, ensuring front-to-back accuracy.Collaborate with Sales and Trading teams on trade booking, allocations, give-ups, and amendments, maintaining consistent communication.Review and resolve exceptions or discrepancies across internal systems and with external counterparties to minimize risk.Complete tasks with attention to detail and in a timely manner, prioritizing risk mitigation and client excellence.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.Experience with risk management, preferably in a Middle Office or Trading Assistant role.Client service skills with attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to drive process automation and improvements, and manage responsibilities independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of FX products, including Deliverable/Non-Deliverable Spot, Forwards, Options, and Exotic Trades.Familiarity with vendor systems (Harmony, Netlink, CAS, Bloomberg, Reuters, FX Connect).Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
