About this Position
Data Analyst 3 will be responsible in leading/supporting and execution of multiple key initiatives along with creating powerful and actionable analytical insights that help inform future business decisions. This position will adopt and utilize appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key issues within the business. Candidate must live in Metro Atlanta Area.
Hybrid Role: 1-2 Days in Duluth Office
Salary: $80K - $90K
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Support all phases of data collection and assessment for reporting and deliveryQuery and analyze data using tools such as SQL, MS Access, Python and others as requiredCreate reports, presentations, and visual dashboards in support of department or business operationsLead analytic projects that align with R&D initiatives across multiple departments within life insurance operationsMentoring of junior data analystsAssist with data strategy objectivesRegularly present and provide insights to senior leadershipExcellent diagnostic skills to analyze and identify discrepancies within data sets and identify solutionsResilient work ethic with the capability to adapt to the situationSelf-motivated and willing to take ownershipCapable of working independently on multiple projects to meet deadlinesAbility to handle ambiguity while striving for clarityEffective communication across diverse audiencesExpertise in quantitative data analysis methods and data miningStrong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate trends and analyses into actionable recommendationsThe ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, draw linkages and balance multiple prioritiesFlexibility to pivot strategy and process according to business needsStrong executive presence and collaborative/interpersonal skillsAbility to align projects with company objectives and discuss actionable insights with stakeholdersEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS
3-5+ years of experience in analytics-focused roles with experience in building and managing analytics requiredBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience requiredMaster's Degree in Business, Data Analysis, Data Science, or related field preferredAdvanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI requiredProficiency in Python and Impact+ is a plusExperience in the Life Insurance industry or medical knowledge is a plusAdvanced proficiency in multiple analytic tools with demonstrated ability to derive deep insights from challenging problemsInitiative to identify opportunities and develop actionable recommendations to improve processes, workflows, or cost-saving measures#Dice
