Our client, an established 60+ y/o specialty heavy civil manufacturing and industrial services provider is seeking a key business development person to help them continue their focused growth in the large industrial capital projects niche.The company has a demonstrated track record of nimbly providing solutions in specialty concrete products, engineered for industrial plants.They are one of the leading providers of products in the growing LNG markets helping the U.S.'s energy independence while helping worldwide customers obtain reliable/clean energy.Other markets our client has applications for include marine construction, refinery and chemical facility projects.
The Business Development Manager will work with the company's marketing and executive leadership to formulate and execute marketing strategies to grow their market share in their industrial specialty areas.
Keys for success in the position include
Engineering Degree preferred8-10+ years in heavy civil construction services to industrial clients (chemical, refining, electrical power, marine facilites)Experience with or developing relationships with larger EPC firmsAbility and passion for solving the puzzle of identifying key decision makers on large capital projectsPositive track record of collaborating with internal company, EPC, industrial construction companies and client industrial teams to professionally determine and employ unique engineering/construction solutions for medium to large capital projectsExperience in helping estimate and bid projectsHouston area candidates preferredU.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required
