Subrogation Specialist

As a subrogation specialist, you will:

Investigate and negotiate claims related to automobile insurance.Determine the liability of other parties involved in an accident and seek reimbursement for damages incurred by our insureds.Manage and oversee subrogation claims from initiation to resolution.Work closely with other departments within the company and external stakeholders to maximize recovery efforts.Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate insurance policies and determine the extent of coverage available to our clients.Prepare and submit claims to arbitration forums, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.Conduct thorough investigations to determine liability for damages incurred by our insured clients.Gather and analyze evidence related to accidents, including police reports, witness statements, and photographs.Negotiate with other insurance companies and third-party individuals to seek reimbursement for damages incurred.Communicate with insureds, internal departments, and external stakeholders to provide updates on the status of claims and seek additional information as needed.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims and related activities in the company's database Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.Candidate Qualifications:

Minimum experience of two years in the automotive industry with a concentration in claims.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.Prior experience with arbitration forums and processesStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm.

Location: This is a hybrid position based out of our offices in either Princeton, NJ, or Detroit, MI. You will be expected to come on-site several times per week.
