Job Description:
The
Director of Strategic Finance
will be a key leader on the OneOncology Strategic Finance team, working to drive growth strategy for the United Urology business line by evaluating both new practice partners as well as organic and inorganic growth opportunities within its existing portfolio of practices. This dynamic role requires a multi-dimensional skillset, including the ability to operate independently, build and manage a team, lead key deal processes, and communicate effectively with United Urology, OneOncology, and practice leadership. The individual should be an experienced and highly motivated self-starter, comfortable voicing their opinion and asking questions, and able to work in ambiguous environments.
This role will provide exciting growth opportunities for personal and career development within a high-growth healthcare company. While the individual will work primarily within the Strategic Finance team, the role will directly interface with the business development and operations teams. The individual will interact frequently with United Urology and OneOncology executives, practice leadership, and our investors. You'll have a direct hand in shaping the growth trajectory of a leading healthcare platform and play a key role in its expansion into new markets.
Responsibilities
You will lead Strategic Finance efforts to drive United Urology's growth by evaluating M&A opportunities, including new anchor affiliations in emerging markets and acquisitions to grow existing practices.
You will develop and implement financial modeling and diligence processes for United Urology's financial evaluations, serving as the first member of a growing team dedicated to these efforts. This role will be instrumental in shaping the team's structure and future growth.
You will manage the "growth readiness" workstream for new platform practices, collaborating with business development, operations, and recruiting teams to assess practice infrastructure and economics, prioritize initiatives, and develop multi-year growth plans.
You will prepare high-visibility materials that will drive strategic decisions, with significant exposure to key stakeholders, including United Urology and OneOncology's executive leadership, board, and investors.
Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or economics
Ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of work experience, including team management and direct responsibility for executive-level relationships and presentationsTransaction advisory, corporate M&A, or investment banking experience required
Healthcare services-related experience is strongly preferred but not required
Demonstrated ability to operate independently
Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Financial modeling capabilities
Ability to analyze information from various data sources into a concise message for senior leaders
Must be able to work in a fast-growing, rapidly evolving business, often with multiple projects simultaneously
