ARC Group is excited to invite a Workforce Planning Analyst to join a dynamic Fortune 500 company at their headquarters in sunny Miami, FL! In this on-site role, you will play a crucial part in both short- and long-term workforce planning for a specialized management rotation, while fostering strong relationships with our Operational Leaders.
As the Workforce Planning Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to implement strategic planning initiatives and develop effective solutions for workforce scheduling services, ensuring that both immediate and future needs are met with care and precision.
This position offers a long-term contract, anticipated to last at least through May 2025, with the potential for an extension or even a transition to a full-time role with our client. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement long-term and short-term workforce plans (schedules) for assigned departments and positions.Coordinates logistics for "just-in-time" onboarding and offboarding, serving as a liaison between Corporate Travel, shipboard management, and external hiring sources.Collaborates with shipboard staff to ensure operational readiness as required.Facilitates effective communication with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Planners, Crew Assist, and Post Movement Analysts regarding workforce planning, succession planning, recruitment, scheduling, and logistics.Adheres to all relevant regulations, including SQM, flag state and port state legislation, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies pertaining to workforce planning.Maintains accurate employee data in the Human Resources system for assigned departments, including performance data for succession planning.Acts as a liaison with Crew Medical and HR concerning shipboard employees on medical leave.Collaborates with Shipboard Operations and HR as necessary for new build preparations.Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements for the Workforce Planning Analyst
Experience:
Minimum of one year in Workforce Analysis.Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.Professional Background:
Previous experience in workforce planning, analytics, par-level planning, scheduling, or logistics services.Technical Skills:
Familiarity with automated human resources and workforce planning systems.Availability:
Must be able to work on-site in the Miami, Florida 33132 office from 9 AM to 5 PM.Sponsorship:
Must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
