Project Operations Manager
with extensive project or change management experience, a strong background in food and beverage operations, and the ability to lead and influence teams of senior leaders in complex environments.
Location : This position is
remote
and will require
travel up to 50%
based on business needs.
Job Overview:
Responsible for the development, communication and implementation of programs designed to support New Services openings and operational initiatives for all divisions. Plans both the coordination and deployment of the New Account Opening team as needed to ensure a financially and operationally successful opening. Directs the process of analyzing and developing Client site business plans with District Managers and organizational team partners to improve the efficiency of new service openings as well as for overall financial opportunities. Able to provide contract management, understands contract scope and helps onsite team build billing processes that ensure correct charges per requirements. Measures effectively the ROI for all activities related to new service openings, account management, and core services such as meal plan contributions to ensure quality and credibility for future strategy. Participates in the retention of existing clients and contributes to the sales effort for new sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and follow-up of new business openings, transitions, and special events.
Ensure successful mobilizations by managing timelines, budgets, and key milestones.
Work with internal teams, including Business Development and Retention, to identify and implement innovative solutions.
Ensure alignment between client expectations and operational execution.
Manage the costs and execution of new openings and special events.
Provide high-level oversight of food and beverage services.
Achieve key milestones by target dates and remain at/below proposed budgets.
Use client and customer feedback to analyze the success of projects.
Develop and maintain exceptional client relationships in connection with the Client Retention Team.
Ensure the alignment of the facility's product offerings with client needs and the organization's brand reputation.
Experience & Skills:
Extensive project management skills, with experience in onboarding new accounts in complex environments.
Strong understanding of change management.
Proven track record in executive-level food and beverage operations.
Robust understanding of various contract structures and a strong background in customer service satisfaction.
Experience with mobilization, retention, and business development.
Familiarity with high-volume food & beverage operations is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for both employee satisfaction and customer service.
Ability to inspire and lead without formal authority.
