ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Doral, FL. The Deputy Program Manager provides leadership, management, direction, administration, and quality assurance for a large, complex enterprise IT service management (ITSM) program for a DoD customer (USSOUTHCOM).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring customer mission success across numerous concurrent ITSM and modernization tasks
Stakeholder engagement including but not limited to engaging with senior government staff
Ensuring quality and timeliness of all deliverables
Workforce management
Applying financial controls
Financial and status reporting both to the government and corporate leadership
Risk management
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of overall project/program management experience including planning, directing, coordinating, and managing people and deliverables. Experience may include government service.
5+ of experience leading geographically dispersed IT operations and engineering staff of varying skill levels in a dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams
Desired Qualifications:
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
An active certification in one of the following:
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)
Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have and active/current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
