Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester to join our team in the Frederick, Maryland .
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute software test plans
Create test plans with test cases based on user stories
Utilize automated and manual processes to generate data and implement test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the Agile team
Ensure that quality software is provided for release to production by independently executing test scripts
Write test scripts
Review requirements, specifications, and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be certified
Create and modify test scripts to certify system changes
Basic Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree
A minimum (4) years of experience as a software tester utilizing manual testing and automation testing to include automation tools
Knowledge of coding with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services
Knowledge of applying QA methodology in Agile or Scrum environments
Ability to work with different teams across organizations to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Software Quality Assurance experience with TMIP-J applications
A SAFe certification, such as: SAFe for Teams, SAFe DevOps, SAFe Agile Software Engineering, Leading SAFe
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
