Job Title : Construction Safety Manager (New Albany, OH)

Location : Columbus, OHDuration : 2 years (Starts 11/18)Type : 1099 Contractor

Compensation :

Hourly Rate : $50/hr (no perdiem)

Perdiem: $125/Day on 7 days

Completion Bonus : $150/month

Pay : Weekly

Schedule :

Hours : 6:30-3:30, 40 hours

Project Scope :The Construction Safety Manager will oversee the safety of the concrete contractors (JSAs, Site Walks, Audits, safety enforcement, etc.).

Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years in construction safety management and concrete experience

Certifications : Current BCSP cert CHST, STSC, SMS

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.

Provide safety training as needed.

Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.

Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.

Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications

Skills :

Excellent public speaking and communication abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.

Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Knowledge : Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate these effectively.
