Job Purpose / Duties & Responsibilities
The HR interns duties include updating internal employee databases, data entry, filing HR documents, screening resumes, initiating background checks, helping with company events, working on projects and giving recommendations to improve HR procedures and practices.\ \ Duties & Responsibilities \ \ Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.\ Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department.\ Enters or updates employee records in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).\ Maintains compliance records companywide as assigned.\ Assists in maintaining and updating human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.\ Prepares or helps maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using HRIS software.\ Assists employees and supervisors with recruiting activities including screening resumes, scheduling interviews and attending job fairs.\ Assists with orientation as available.\ Assists with processing temporary employee, contractor and other department invoices.\ Assists employees with access to Employee Self Service, benefits enrollments and changes.\ Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.\ Makes photocopies; mails, scans, files and emails documents; processes mail and performs other clerical functions.\ Assists Company events, spirit weeks, gathering photos and parties.\ Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
