As a Rivian Program Manager of Containment Operations, you will be responsible for the execution of Field Service Actions to ensure the quality and safety of Rivian vehicles. You will be engaging with Quality, Field Service, Manufacturing and Service Engineering to address concerns with vehicles in the field. Working alongside a vast group of individuals, to solve complex problems while making sure Rivian's high standard of quality requirements are met.
Responsibilities
Support the field action team with the end-to-end execution of Field Actions within a timely manner by collaborating with Quality, Reliability, Engineering and LegalAuthor and publish all internal and external communications relating to Field Service ActionsWork closely with Service Engineering, Service Parts and Field Service to align on execution timelines and completion strategyLead education of Field Service staff relating to Field Service ActionsAssist with the operating and maintaining of reporting standards and guidelines related to regulatory complianceUnderstand and interpret standards, laws, and regulationsPrepare, support, and maintain content for regulated submissionsSupport other cross-functional initiatives in accordance with industry requirementsQualifications
Relevant Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and training3+ years of Program Management experience supporting business strategy, operations, and customer successAbility to manage multiple projects across varying geographic locations simultaneouslyWillingness to work in a strong cross functional environmentProven technical knowledge and ability to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, Quality, and suppliersKnowledge of lemon law, and legislative bills that have a direct effect on After-Sales/Service, such as Right to RepairExperience working in a manufacturing / production environmentProficient in Microsoft Office productsExperience in Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Excel is a plusExcellent written and oral communication skills to explain complex problems to a vast audiencePossesses passion to provide exceptional customer service and ownership experienceUnderstanding of state and federally regulated agencies, such as DVSA, MOT, NHTSA, DOT, FMVSS, BAR, etc.; in addition to international standardsAbility and willingness to travel up to 15% of the timeAbility to stand or sit for 8-10 hours per dayRequired to communicate using telephone and/or e-mail
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $87k - $115k (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
