The

Senior SIOP & Material Planning Manager

is responsible for long-term scheduling and capacity planning for the Charlotte factory to align with customer and market requirements and financial commitments. In this role, you will ensure on-time customer delivery and collaborate with customer service to ensure requirements are aligned with customer needs.

The Senior SIOP & Material Planning Manager

will be responsible for:

Customer on-time delivery

Reduction of E&O inventory

Alignment of financial plans with production schedule and supply plan

On-time delivery of accessories, outside purchases, and aftermarket orders

The master schedule for the Charlotte factory

Optimization of product lead time and distribution of lead time bulletin

Scheduling and planning of new products

Delivery of data center order schedules

Key Responsibilities

Develop a master schedule for the factory based on sales orders, order pipeline, and market demand

Work closely with internal teams (CHVAC SIOP team, sales, product marketing, and customer service) to deliver on customer requirements and forecast appropriately to optimize factory capacity

Create accurate component-level forecasts utilizing digital tools to reduce chiller lead time and optimize inventory

Identify key data needs, metrics, and inputs to help drive the correct business decisions in the overall SIOP process.

Understand and communicate plan changes, risks, and overall process performance

Manage supply planning and scheduling for aftermarket and accessory orders

Measure, analyze, and report key SIOP supply metrics while monitoring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs)

Play a key role in Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory reviews, root cause analysis, and develop action plans to reduce excess inventory

Perform root cause analysis to understand reasons for schedule misses and incorporate corrective actions to improve on-time delivery

Collaborate with internal groups (Sales, Demand Planning, Material Managers, and Production Planning) to generate recommendations to solve capacity issues and support long-term sales demand

Manage the phase-in of engineering changes into the schedule including new programs and sustaining engineering changes

Ensure all data center schedules are achieved with 100% Customer on-time delivery

Planning and scheduling of new product manufacturing check samples and pilot units to support program schedules

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

7+ years of experience in the supply chain (SIOP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, & Scheduling)

Preferred Qualifications

Business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams

Action-oriented, results-driven with analytical and problem-solving skills

English verbal and written communication skills

Work independently, collaboratively, and effectively manage multiple

Project management skills

Business acumen specific to Inventory, Revenue, Units, and Margin

Build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills

Inventory optimization

Use and/or implement advanced tools and systems for planning and inventory management

Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Make to Order/ Engineer to Order (MTO/ETO) manufacturing environments
