Weapons Systems Analyst (JPEO A&A/PEO Soldier)

Sigmatech, Inc. is seeking a weapons systems analyst to work within DASA DE&C’s International Acquisition Directorate (IAD) under the general supervision of the Director, International Acquisition. The employee will serve as the recognized technical authority in l-acquisition, analysis, and evaluation of assigned weapon systems as it pertains to Security Cooperation, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Armaments Cooperation to ensure holistic Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) and acquisition management. The employee typically helps determine requirements to aid the PEOs/PMs in defining weapon system configuration(s) and plan Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) program execution to ensure proper consideration of technology transfer, foreign disclosure, weapon system forecasted future demand, current demand, and projected delivery schedule for overall program management success. Provides reports to leadership and recommends courses of actions for complex weapon system challenges and programmatic aspects of international partners procurement of weapons systems.
Responsibilities:
Main internal authority on technical and programmatic details of ammunition and artillery, cannon, and firearms systems.
Understands current US Army JPEO A&A and PEO Soldier programs of record and developmental efforts. Able to align FMS, efforts to Army programs of record.
Fulfills execution tasking by providing information regarding systems to counterpart directorates, external Army agencies, and Senior Leaders
Maintains close relationship at AO level with PEOs, LCMCs, SAMDs (especially JMC), DASCs for coordination, deconfliction, and problem solving
Providing perspective of Army weapons system, capabilities, cost, schedule, performance, in support of partners upstream requirements and modernization
Preparing talking points for DASA DEC leadership and to support counterpart directorates
Personally support engagement when required in advisement of Pre-LOR and LOR-development (to include travel)
Required Experience:
Must possess a current Security Clearance (Secret level)
Preferred technical knowledge of various technology types, to include but not limited to, artillery systems, small arms, munitions, and other JPEO A&A and PEO Soldier programs
Program office experience supporting Army acquisition programs
Preferred operational experience employing Army equipment and programs of record
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred and at least ten (10) years of professional experience is required
At least five (5) years’ experience in DoD Program Management is required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Army’s Acquisition and Security Assistance Enterprise’s preferred
Must be able to work effectively with others
Must be comfortable engaging with senior leadership
