Description of Duties:
The
Junior Cyber Security Project/RMF Engineer
supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

Work under a mid or senior-level cybersecurity engineer to apply their understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and guides (such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Risk Management Framework (RMF) or the Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)) to specific systems to manage and improve their cybersecurity posture.

Work with Project stakeholders and technical teams to identify and prepare cybersecurity artifacts.
·
Review and validate all relevant Security Controls and/or applicable departmental policies for each IT system assigned.
·
Develop and maintain Documentation.
·
Develop and maintain Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
·
Be assigned to multiple projects and support the project manager through the entire project life-cycle.
·
Support the review and update of CND procedures, processes, manuals, and other documentation.
