Fundraising and Events Manager

on behalf of our client, a prominent nonprofit organization in Tulsa, OK. This

hybrid

role focuses on driving corporate sponsorships, securing high-dollar contracts, and leading the charge in planning and executing fundraising events, including a high-profile luncheon.

As part of a revenue-focused team, the Fundraising and Events Manager leads donor engagement and manages a committed C-Suite volunteer committee for a major event designed to bring together community leaders and supporters. Reporting to the Regional Executive Director, this exciting role offers the opportunity to create a meaningful impact while being recognized for driving results!

RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and manage fundraising initiatives, focusing on securing corporate sponsorships and individual donations for high-profile events.Recruit and manage a C-suite volunteer committee to ensure successful fundraising efforts.Build strong relationships with local businesses and corporate sponsors, aligning their support with the mission.Develop and present compelling proposals to potential sponsors.Coordinate event logistics, including volunteer management, auction organization, and corporate engagement.Engage with community partners to broaden fundraising outreach.Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver successful fundraising events that exceed revenue goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of experience in fundraising, event management, sales, or business development, with a strong track record of closing large revenue contracts.Proven success in cultivating corporate partnerships and securing sponsorships.Experience in recruiting and managing volunteer committees, particularly engaging C-suite members.Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing event logistics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships.Experience with fundraising software such as Salesforce or Blackbaud is a plus.Ability to travel locally as needed (70%).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:In addition to a competitive base salary of $75,000 (DOE), with a quarterly incentive plan of up to 25% based on achieving specific revenue targets, this organization provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, wellness programs, and more!
