, is searching for a
Development Associate
for an amazing pediatric health and wellness nonprofit organization in
Manhattan, New York . This full-time permanent position offers an opportunity to truly make an impact in the lives of children and families!
The Development Associate will handle tasks such as preparing fundraising and donor reports, engaging with donors, tracking contributions, managing mailing lists, aiding in event planning, overseeing the volunteer program, processing donations, and ensuring timely acknowledgments.
What you'll be doing:
Cultivating relationships with Board of Directors, institutional funder representatives, donors, Bellevue Hospital staff, vendors, and beneficiaries.Managing and updating donor database through DonorPerfect.Executing and refining fundraising initiatives, including the annual fundraising benefit, Toy Drive, and other campaigns.Improving overall development initiatives.Coordinating with Finance and Operations Manager and bookkeeper for donation processing and recording.Disseminating public relations and prospect materials.Compiling supporting documentation for grant proposals, sponsorship solicitations, and other communication materials.Researching potential grant opportunities.Recruiting and overseeing intern(s).Supporting new program development and implementation as needed.
What you need to be successful:
3+ years Development or Advancement experienceCRM database management experience, DonorPerfect preferred.Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.Some evening and/or weekend work availability
Compensation:In additional to working for an organization with a phenomenal mission and positive team-oriented work environment, this opportunity offers a salary of $60,000-75,000 along with paid medical, dental, and vision, 18 vacation days, 10 sick days, and 13 holidays!
