Plant Manager

Overview: Seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and coordinate plant operations, ensuring efficient production and cost-effectiveness. Reporting to the General Manager, this role oversees all aspects of plant functions, including production, quality, maintenance, and safety.Key Responsibilities:Oversee plant functions in administration, production, quality, and maintenance to meet customer and regulatory standards.Analyze production data to identify and address non-conformities and ensure compliance.Drive operational excellence and leverage new technologies to maintain industry leadership.Develop and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, and finances, promoting continuous improvement.Understand and manage the plant's P&L, assist in budget development, and meet financial reporting deadlines.Direct audits and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.Mentor and develop team members, supporting career growth and succession planning.Ensure safe working conditions in line with regulations.Adhere to best practices in manufacturing, food safety, and sanitation.Manage union relations, support contract negotiations, and collaborate effectively with union representatives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business administration, food science, or a related field preferred.8+ years in manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage sector.Proven record of achieving quality, safety, and cost targets.3+ years of supervisory experience, including performance management.Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
