Seeking dedicated administrative professional for employment to work with leading conservation agency to support statewide investigations and intelligence.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a sensitive law enforcement administrative position, performing technical and administrative duties to support the Statewide Investigations and Intelligence Section.
Responsibilities include processing recreational hunting/fishing/ trapping license suspensions, data entry, drafting correspondence letters, purchasing, travel requests/reimbursements, reviewing/processing monthly reports, assigned administrative duties and overall providing excellent internal and external customer service.
This position also serves as the administrative liaison to the FWC Wildlife Alert Reward Association program, working ten hours per week processing reward payments, scheduling Wildlife Alert (WA) meetings and other administrative duties assigned by the WA board.
COMPENSATION:
$18 Hourly for FWC (30 hours/week) and $18 hourly for Wildlife Alert (10 hours/week) with an additional compensation package which may include state health insurance and a biannual performance bonus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.Ability to read and understand applicable rules, regulations and directives.Ability to communicate effectively with the public in a courteous manner.Ability to use personal computer.Ability to set up and organize office files.Ability to work independently.Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Have relatable administrative and customer service experienceBe proficient in Windows OS, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS OutlookAbility to Communicate effectively in oral and written formatsAbility to read and understand applicable rules, regulations, laws and directivesTreat others with respect and maintain effective working relationships in a team environmentMust be able to work independently.Successfully pass a level 2 background check.
