The Staffing Specialist will optimize staffing levels through schedule production for each of our stores to ensure balanced staffing levels to meet customer service and workload demand. The Staffing Specialist is highly organized and analytical, has an extreme attention to detail, works efficiently under time constraints, and is an exceptional team player.Essential Functions:Input schedule requests, perform edits and release schedules on a weekly basis in line with state and company requirementsBalance scheduled hours in each store to reduce expense exposureOpen and balance requisitions on a daily basis. Run and analyze weekly reports, making recommendations to better support stores and reduce expenseMaintain ongoing communication with senior store leadership team and sales managersConduct store visits to facilitate staff training on scheduling system and address system concerns
Qualifications and Competencies:Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise mannerExcellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levelsAbility to think creatively, strategically and technicallyAbility to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
Physical Requirements:May require working with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods of time.May Involve, reaching stooping, kneeling or crouchingFrequently lift/move up to 10 lbs.
