This is a full-time on-site position located in Toppenish, WA. RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, vendors, and customers - responsible for all plant safety programs.Lead and mentor Production Manager and Plant Supervisors and other leaders within the facility to improve safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations.Aid internal departments to identify issues affecting safety, efficiency, productivity, food safety, and overall quality of product.Partners, leads, and supports projects and initiatives implemented by the technical team and the continuous improvement leader.Assist in setting annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets. Assist in solving internal and external complaints related to quality, including raw materials. Responsible for developing and monitoring facility production budget.Set production standards and review production results. Drives standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices.Ensures timely completion of preventative maintenance, action items from internal and external audits, continuous improvement projects, and safety initiatives.Member of the CAPA team.Ensures all employees, visitors, vendors, etc., participate and are responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laid forth in the Food Safety and Quality Manual.Supports SQF Practitioner and responsible for Safe Quality Food (SQF) compliance and partners with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on SQF compliance concerns.Competencies:Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively in English.Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and train employees.Strategic vision and critical thinking skills.Ability to problem solve and make decisions.Ability to plan and organize effectively.Proficient math skills.Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.Understand and use basic office equipment and programs.Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.Requirements:5 years management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multiwall field.5 years experience supporting and leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives.5 years demonstrated ability to create, develop, and lead teams.Are you ready to THRIVE ?
