The Excalibur Group is currently seeking
Logistics Supervisors
in
Washington, DC
to provide care and support for DC residents at shelters throughout the district.
*DC RESIDENTS AND BILINGUAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED

PRIMARY LOCATIONSCandidates must originate from the Washington DC area.Job sites will be in Washington DC.Jobs sites are subject to change or be added based on client needs and continued employment requires you to be able to work on site.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage facility supplies and resources, to include tracking, storage, and upkeep in alignment with other Provider responsibilities (e.g., cleaning supplies managed through Janitorial provider).Manage inventory, tracking, and sorting of clothing and personal items in the clothing store on-site.Supervise and assist with the movement of facility resources, furniture, and fixtures in a safe and thoughtful manner.Oversee the monitoring of the physical condition of the facility by conducting internal and external rovers each shift-change to ensure a clean, safe and hazard free environment.Serve as liaison to external entities; report all maintenance concerns to designated District contacts.Coordinate and manage facility signage, pathway management/closures, and availability of basic resources in accordance with Reception and Respite services.Support development and maintenance of work schedule, ensuring proper coverage and management of logistical needs.Reviews resolutions to logistical requests for quality and completeness.Conduct monitoring of logistical specialist performance on a regular basis.LOCATIONS
Be available and willing to travel to multiple locations within Washington DC and deal with multiple daily work scenarios, thinking quickly on your feet to complete assigned tasks in a professional manner.This position will require work to be conducted onsite and will require work on some weekends/holidays in excess of 40 hours per week with Over Time Pay.Job sites will be on New York Ave NE in Washington DC.Jobs sites are subject to change or be added based on client needs and continued employment requires you to be able to work on site.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or high in logistics or supply chain management preferredThree years' experience supervising procurement, organization, tracking, and distribution goods and services in shelter or hospitality environmentsExperience should include:Development and implementation of logistical proceduresStaff training and schedule managementCoordination with site staff and mission partnersAbility and willingness to perform light housekeeping and lifting up to 30 poundsValid driver's license requirePreferred
