Position Summary: The Director of Talent Acquisition, working collaboratively with the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, will have oversight of all daily nursing/clinical recruitment operations that support the entire Hartford HealthCare system. The Director will have oversight of the day-to-day operation and creation of Hartford HealthCare’s sourcing strategy, including resource allocation, and active involvement with vendor management and website/CRM administration. As a member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, the Director will assist in the creation and execution of Talent Acquisition’s long-term strategy. Key Accountabilities: * Lead a team of approximately 15 Recruiters on all day-to-day recruitment activities that support the Hartford HealthCare system * Partner within Talent Acquisition and with other internal HHC customers to create and ensure efficient, effective recruitment and sourcing campaigns targeting the right audience at the right time * Lead Talent Acquisition’s recruitment team by offering support and guidance regarding the creation of recruitment strategies to support critical areas of need * Partner with Talent Acquisition’s leadership team to develop effective and creative recruitment strategies to further attract diverse talent * Engage team members to continuously improve Talent Acquisition’s recruitment function. Maintains ownership of processes and responsibility for standard work creation * Develop appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms, service-level agreements and other planning and measurement tools to build accountability and measure results, impact and cost-effectiveness of the hiring process and talent acquisition team * Demonstrate HHC’s leadership behaviors and represent Talent Acquisition in a positive manner both within the department and with key stakeholders * Partner with the Manager of Business Systems to optimize, create and utilize appropriate technology to support workflows * Partner successfully with internal colleagues to successfully promote and enhance Hartford HealthCare’s employee brand with external candidates * Maintain working knowledge of all Talent Acquisition systems, in addition to management responsibilities. Active participation in Talent Acquisition Work Groups, Lean Daily Management huddles, and other department initiatives * Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree is strongly desired * Five plus years of leadership experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment required * Experience working with recruitment vendors to maximize investment is required * The ability to work constructively with a diverse group of employees at all levels of the organization * Comfortable with a high degree of change and communicating change to stakeholders as necessary * The ability to prioritize effectively and remain calm despite a high volume of activity * Confident, capable leader skilled in team building and engagement * The ability to successfully illustrate the value and contribution of assigned area of responsibility within the department and across the organization * Excellent communicator with the ability to bring matters of disagreement to diplomatic resolution * Skilled at building bridges and collaborating with leadership across the organization * The ability to represent Talent Acquisition within Hartford HealthCare, as well as outside of the organization We take great care of careers.
