Assistant Principal

Compensation and Benefits:Compensation : Propel provides a competitive salary for the Assistant Principal. Relevant prior work experience will be considered when determining placement within our salary range.Relocation Allowance : A relocation allowance for new hires moving to the area from 90 miles away or further.Health Insurance:
Medical, dental, and vision plan options at a low cost for individual employees and families.Retirement:
New hires participate in a 403(b); Propel contributes 5% automatically and matches up to 4%. This increases after 5 years.Paid Leave:
In addition to 16-19 paid holidays annually, the Principal will receive 5 sick days and 10 Personal Days. The Principal will also accrue 6 hours of vacation time per pay period.Tuition Assistance:
Reimbursement of up to $3,000 annually upon completion of course and receipt of grades for coursework that meets our eligibility requirements.Wellness Benefit:
Reimbursement of $20 per month for wellness activities including Gym Memberships, health programs, etc. Additionally, staff have the ability to earn up to $300 for participation in a Wellness Program each year.Professional Development:
At Propel, we believe in supporting staff growth and provide substantial school-based and network-wide professional development support for all staff. The Assistant Principal will participate in Professional Development throughout the school year.Leadership & Career Development:

Provide instructional leadership by coaching, developing, and evaluating teachers through observation, modeling, analyzing data, and co-teachingSupport teachers with classroom management and disciplineModel Propel's core values and set the standard for professional behaviorAre highly present and visible during school hours to ensure a positive school culturePlan and lead professional developmentManage logistics for school-wide assessmentsCollect and analyze student achievement data and using data to drive recommendations for instructionAssist the Principal in developing and enforcing systems of accountability for staffAssist the Principal and Talent team in teacher recruitment, hiring, and terminationCollaborate with Principal on budget preparation and monitoringCollaborate with the Principal to develop, implement, and monitor a school-wide culture plan that includes routines and expectations for students and staffAddress parent concerns and communicationBuild and maintain existing relationships with community stakeholdersAct on behalf of the Principal and School on school-wide issuesWork closely with the Principal on day-to-day school-wide issues and represent a united school leadership teamReport directly to the Principal and Senior DirectorQualifications
