The Assistant Director of Recruitment at Western Kentucky University (WKU) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the university's admissions and enrollment processes. This key position directs the development and execution of comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with WKU's mission, aiming to attract and enroll a well-rounded and qualified student body. The Assistant Director will manage and optimize marketing, recruitment budgets, and data-driven initiatives to effectively target prospective students across traditional and non-traditional student groups. Additionally, the role involves maintaining high admissions standards, streamlining communication strategies across multiple student populations and leading a team to implement innovative recruitment practices and technologies. The position plays a crucial role in supporting WKU's strategic enrollment goals and ensuring the success and efficiency of the recruitment and admissions functions.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree.
At least five years of experience in admissions, recruitment or other student services within the college or university setting.
Experience in supervising multiple full-time employees.
Additional Information:
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
Kentucky state law requires all public institutions of postsecondary education to conduct pre-employment criminal background checks to determine suitability for employment.
