As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to support our West Coast operations from our Phoenix, Arizona office.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the West Coast region, including California, Hawaii, and Arizona. This role will involve working closely with employees and management to ensure HR policies are applied consistently and fairly, and to promote a positive and productive work environment. This position is hybrid and requires a minimum of 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:Employee Relations:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Provide guidance and support on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation.HR Administration:
Create employee profiles in ADP Workforce Now and other websites, conduct background checks and I-9 verification in compliance with E-Verify, process new hire documentation, handle all terminations processing.Employee Engagement:
Design, implement, and manage initiatives that enhance employee engagement. Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and goals.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in labor laws affecting the West Coast region, particularly California.Benefits Administration:
Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Educate employees on available benefits and handle related inquiries.Training & Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Support the implementation of company-wide development initiatives.HR Reporting & Analytics:
Maintain HR records and prepare reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, and employee engagement levels. Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements.Compensation & Payroll:
Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. Assist with compensation benchmarking and job evaluations.Workplace Safety:
Promote a safe work environment by supporting the implementation of health and safety programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Diversity & Inclusion:
Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the West Coast region. Partner with management to foster a culture of respect and equity.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years experience in a relevant Human Resources Generalist role, preferably with a multi-state focus.Must be able to interface at all levels of the organizationPassion for innovative HR solutions and process improvementExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to think critically and strategicallyAdept at building relationshipsStrong knowledge of California labor laws is highly preferred.PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of independence.Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.What We Offer:

Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
