Job Description - Human Resources Generalist

Reports to:
Human Resources Manager
The primary function of this position is to support the human resources functions at Ace Endico. This position will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Relations:Address employee inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.Mediate conflict resolution and facilitate communication between employees and management.Promote HR programs and initiatives to create and efficient and conflict-free workplace.Manage employee performance reviews and development plans.Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.Process benefit enrollments, changes, and claims.Ensure compliance with all relevant benefits regulations.HR Policy Development and Implementation:
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.Compliance and Reporting:
Maintain employee records and HR metrics, providing reports as needed.Training and Development:
Assist in identifying training needs and maintaining training records.Coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions and professional development initiatives.Develop training programs.HR Data Management:
Maintain accurate employee records and data.Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.Other
Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data.Assist in Talent Acquistion and the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.Perform other related duties as assigned by Human Resources Manager.Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as a generalist.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in high stress situationsPhysical Requirements:
Normal visual acuity.Good hearing and oral communication skills.Manual dexterity and ability to use a keyboard and mouse comfortably.Able to sit and stand for extended periods.General Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.Must successfully pass a controlled substance screening test and background check.Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.Must adhere to all safety practices and company policies.
Pay Range:
$23-25+ (depending on experience)
