What You'll Be Doing

The Contract Manager position supports the Team Lead, Supervisors, and Senior Contract Managers in a wide range of contract administration duties to ensure accuracy, timely completion, and a high level of customer service. These duties include, but are not limited to:

This is a non-supervisory position.This position will provide administrative support for the Contract Management Team in a wide variety of contract responsibilities, which will include assisting with coordinating all Request for Services of Supplemental Staffing contracts and minor contract administration of assigned HHS service areas.This position will assist senior contract manager(s), in monitoring contract/procurement actions to ensure they are written correctly, that terms are met, and ensure renewal so that service is not interrupted.This position may provide contract support and assistance for the team and post solicitations, addendums, updates, and questions on the HHS intranet website.This position will also assist with insurance requirements and setting up and modifying the County Council resolution for all contracts. The position will be responsible for preparing reports and updating contract database/ tracking tools to ensure accurate completion of data and timely completion of contract actions.Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree.

Experience:

Two (2) years of professional administrative experience related to project management, data analysis, research and development of contracting processes, and/or contract administration.

Minimum of 2 years of experience with legal writing, including drafting and editing contracts, and amendments with moderate scope requirements, including coordination with multiple departments in a short time frame.Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously and working independently to problem-solve complex projects.Experience providing customer service to multiple clients.Experience working in a particularly detail-oriented environment requiring substantial organizational skills.Experience with analyzing data, preparing and developing reports, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
