Position Description Manage and lead product development projects ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, company policies, and regulations. Ensure product performance to customer/functional specifications is in balance with deadlines and budgets. This includes identifying resources and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional project team members to deliver projects according to plan. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Category Management, Sourcing, Contract Manufacturers / OEM, Supplier Quality, through the product development process to ensure successful completion of development projects and business goals. Responsible for developing, communicating, and documenting project strategies and detailed schedule creation and maintenance. Accountable for project budget, project schedule and active risk management of the project. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery, develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and provides update to senior management teams. Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products per product development cycle. Reviews status of projects; manages schedules, budgets and prepares status reports on regular basis. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Proposes modifications to functional operating policies and day-to-day processes. Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations. Uses information exchange, influence and active persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties. Overall responsibility for product realization from technology selection through full market release. Manages one or more developed or mature programs with well-defined program plans and delivery methodologies. Support and coordinate delivery of Design History File and Regulatory Submission documentation for the project. Coordinate Development builds through product verification/validation. Lead design reviews & utilize analytical skills to drive technical decision-making. Support the recruitment and formation of an empowered, accountable Core Team capable of taking responsibility for the complete execution and management of the program. Coach and motivate Core Team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Mentor and support other Program Management team members; share experiences, problem solving approaches, and program management knowledge. Committed to best practices through identification, development and implementation of standard processes, techniques and training Participate in long term product line strategy development to understand unmet needs related to product lines within defined scope of responsibility. Provide leadership and direction for business process improvement and optimization projects that evolve key business processes, SOPs and Wis, institutionalize best practices and standard work and ensure compliance to the BMT quality system. Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, health informatics, healthcare or marketing related field required. 5+ years of p oven track record of managing large complex technical programs, from kickoff to completion 5+ years of experience working across functional and geographical boundaries, in a matrix environment. Advanced Influencer, Collaborator and Team player. Strong planning, problem solving and decision-making skills Experience in managing outsourced or sub-contracted work Strong communication skills - ability to present in front or large and small audience, from senior Executives to team members and associates. Experience in building teams and leading in a matrixed environment Ability to travel both domestically and internationally if needed. Preferred: CPPM or PMP certification (or equivalent) 5+ years of total experience in project management and program management in product development, preferably in medical devices development or enterprise software development in healthcare Experience in programs for medical imaging products, specifically cardiology or radiology Experience leading capital hardware, software and consumable projects Experience with catheter design, process development, and manufacturing. Other: 15% travel time may be required This position is expected to be Hybrid with dedicated days in the office.
