Production Specialist- 3rd Shift

What We Need:
Brady corporation is seeking a Production Specialist who will be responsible for supporting operating equipment in the areas of coating, compounding, and/or converting. This position is responsible for supporting the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customer's expectations. The machine operator will be successful in this position by executing to standard work and adhering to all company policies.
What You'll Be Doing:
Knows all aspects of the department and fills in for the Team Lead when out of office.
Ensures maximum throughput.
Verifies each Work Order and verifies Process Set-up & Product Specifications are correct.
Makes grade and product changes either helping the operator or instructing the operator.
Performs Quality Control checks.
Assist the operator and/or Starts up and shuts down meltblown lines.
Ensures that we have all items necessary to run the current and upcoming jobs.
Verifies labels, bags, boxes, cover stock etc. are correct and available.
Assist lines when Machine Operators are on breaks and lunch.
Trains Machine Operators.
Ensure Machine Operators are keeping up with changing color die drums, using repro, and keeping the lines clean.
Either assist Machine operators and/or removes and installs spinnerets.
Ensures the Machine Operators are keeping the collectors clean and power washes the collectors when needed.
Monitors extruder areas/equipment and production lines and ensures they are kept safe and clean.
Makes sure product weights are on target and in spec.
Follows each work order correctly.
Reports any issues to the Team Leader.
Follows work instructions and provides updates to Team Leader/Supervisor(s).
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of work experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand/walk for majority of work day
