Are you a seasoned technical manager with a passion for Industrial Automation and MES systems, ready to take your career to the next level in the dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector? Our company is seeking an MES Technical Manager who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and diverse assignments. You'll investigate innovative ideas to boost our competitiveness, improve throughput, and reduce operational costs while providing subject matter expertise to our engineering team.
In this role, you will create comprehensive project proposals outlining business benefits, timelines, funding requirements, and critical resources. You'll conduct experiments to validate feasibility and serve as a technical liaison, ensuring our initiatives are successfully implemented. Your ability to lead complex projects and provide detailed business analysis will be crucial in developing strategies that meet our business objectives. You will prepare and deliver impactful presentations to business leaders, maintain an understanding of business decisions' cross-functional impacts, and apply your extensive knowledge to significant assignments with considerable autonomy.
Your technical acumen will shine as you demonstrate mastery in disciplines such as Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Packaging, and Controls Engineering, or processes like Distillations, Filtration, Separations, and Packaging. You'll provide operational recommendations, develop innovative ideas, and lead or participate in cross-functional planning sessions. Your expertise will drive technology improvements, develop standards and policies, and lead research studies to enhance our products and processes.
Implement Lean Six Sigma principles such as the PDCA cycle, standard work, and Kaizen to solve technical problems and drive flow and continuous improvement. Ensure understanding and compliance with applicable quality, environmental, safety, and regulatory considerations. What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering plus 8 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, which may include Gallo TMDP or OMDP experience: OR, Bachelor of Science Degree plus 10 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR, Master’s Degree in Engineering plus 6 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, which may include Gallo TMDP or OMDP experience; OR, PhD of Engineering plus 4 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR, High School Diploma plus 12 years of Engineering experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Understands Basic Engineering and can follow standard work to achieve goals.
May be required to travel at least 25% of the time, domestically, for project meetings at site or vendor offices, construction oversight, start-up management, clear communication with site, project continuity and effective project leadership.
May be required to travel up to 5% of the time, internationally, for Factory Acceptance Testing and meetings at vendor offices.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
Hiring Salary Range Posted: $130,500.00 - $195,700.00 / year
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
