The Marketing Coordinator will report into the Marketing Manager and be based in New York. The ideal candidate is a New York City expert, best in class writer, and strategic in the development of creative marketing content and collateral. Self-starter, great communicator, multi-tasker, quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and has a serious passion for marketing and knows its value to the company. This position will work across various departments including marketing, research, sales, social, and creative.Your ResponsibilitiesWork with marketing and sales teams on various ongoing projects including:Developing both marketing materials as well as working on the upkeep of media kits, incentives & collateral for internal and external use.Providing competitive spending reports to client & agency partnersDeveloping customized media packages and decks for specific clients and targetsInvestigating new OOH advertising opportunities/prospectsWriting & developing market specific content for the website and intranetExecute data rich materials using various research platforms including Geopath, Scarborough, Kantar, and moreActively participate in weekly sales meetings and monthly marketing meetingsAct as a marketing guru for the sales team, utilizing knowledge about our industry and company to develop customized presentations, sales collateral, etc.Assist in social media efforts. This includes staying on top of industry news/trends, creating/researching content and maintaining social media pagesCollaborate on various projects. This includes all project phases from brainstorming, creation, delivery and follow upComplete any other projects as neededYour QualificationsBachelor's Degree1-2 years professional experience. Advertising agency/marketing experience is highly preferred.Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet strict deadlines & handle multiple ongoing projects concurrentlyProfessional and positive attitude when interacting with all levels of managementAble to take initiative and introduce new ideas with an emphasis on forward-thinkingComprehensive knowledge of marketing/advertising and how our business fits into both the industry and entire media landscapeStrong eye for design/visual aesthetics - ability to quickly pick up on these conceptsExperience in copy writing for marketing materials and socialDrive to learn new research and data platformsExperience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)The salary range for this role is $24-$27/per hour. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position .
