The Highlights:

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, leading a team with strong problem-solving and communication skills, ensuring effective platform maintenance and optimization, streamlining business processes, enhancing customer engagement, driving data-driven decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.

What You'll Do:

Lead the development and maintenance of custom Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages

Design and implement complex Salesforce Flows to automate business processes, ensuring seamless integration with other Salesforce features and third-party applications

Develop and configure Experience Cloud sites to enhance user engagement, customizing the user interface to meet the specific needs of the organization

Collaborate with educational stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, supporting the implementation of Salesforce for student information systems, alumni management, and other education-related functions

Provide training and support to end-users on the use of Salesforce Flows, optimizing existing Flows for efficiency and scalability

Mentor junior developers and contribute to the professional development of the team

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or have equivalent experience

Proficient in Apex coding with significant experience in developing and maintaining custom Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages

Experienced with Salesforce Flows, capable of designing and implementing complex Flows to automate business processes

Skilled in developing and configuring Experience Cloud sites to enhance user engagement

Familiar with higher education processes and requirements a plus

Salesforce certified (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator) with additional advanced certifications preferred

Knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Experience with Salesforce integration tools such as MuleSoft

Familiarity with other Salesforce products and features like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud

Proven leadership experience in technical projects or teams

This is a remote position but may require travel to campus, if there is a business need.
