We're looking for an HRIS Manager to join our collaborative and high-performing Human Resources team. In this role, you will: Ensure integrity and functionality of the HR/payroll system software, ensuring timely and accurate information is reported to both internal and external audiences. Coordinate and test all system changes and application upgrades. Includes testing system changes in a test environment prior to implementation in Production. Coordinate mass changes/reorganizations in coordination with related departments (e.g., Finance, HR, and Payroll). Integrate database programs with existing applications and design workflow processes that will contribute to increased productivity and minimize related operational costs. Implement policy and practice changes from a HR system standpoint. Recommend system software, processing or procedural changes which are efficient and cost-effective. Work regularly with Payroll to establish and maintain effective processes. Design, implement, and trouble shoot custom personnel reports, including routine management and ad hoc reports. Using Cognos BI, generate monthly reports for various departments (e.g., Attorney Census, Staffing, and Headcount Report). Provide employee/partner data to assist with the completion of RFPs and surveys. Train end users on HR systems. Serve as technology liaison between Human Resources and other administrative departments in achieving maximum information efficiencies. Implement benefit plan, Open Enrollment, and Life Events setups, as well as ongoing required modifications. Work with outside benefit plan providers to develop and execute electronic data interchanges. Coordinate with Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) to ensure data exchange and format requirements are met. Ensure weekly eligibility files are sent to carriers per established schedule. Work with UKG to resolve file transfer interruption issues. Oversee data gathering and timely submission of compliance-related obligations (e.g. AAP, PPACA, CA Pay Data, and EEO-1). Where necessary, coordinate required tasks with appropriate SMEs. Oversee new hire onboarding processes. Create/implement custom forms to capture data that is not captured via the delivered onboarding forms. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws related to I-9's and E-Verify. Oversee employee and Partner electronic personnel files. Ensure document retention obligations are maintained. May perform other duties not mentioned above. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years HRIS experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization. In-depth understanding of Benefits Administration and Payroll functional areas. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate and identify problems/issues; recommend and implement solutions/alternative courses of action. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitivity and discretion. Ability to work independently and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Firm personnel in a team environment. Self-starter who works well with limited direction. Strong client service focus and commitment to Dorsey's values of diversity and inclusion. Strong administrative, management, and leadership abilities. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and projects; ability to work under pressure. Experience with Cognos BI or similar business intelligence software. Preferred: Strong technical working knowledge in the use of UKG Pro HRIS. HR System implementation experience strongly preferred.
