This candidate will be responsible for Product Management of mid-size product line and would support Catalog Management.
Product Management
(Full Responsibility): Responsible for managing Aftermarket Product Line, including any/all line extensions developed or sourced by Continental. The Product Manager will also develop and manage any/all existing and future external strategic supplier and/or distribution strategies within the category. The Product Manager is responsible for overall product category profit & loss.
Manage Product Category P&L, Growth, as well as Product Strategy & Positioning
Manage Sales & Cost Budgeting
Direct Forecasting, Market Pricing & Develop Business Cases
Manage Product Life Cycle, PNs SAP setup & management, Material load sheet etc.
Direct Competitive Benchmarking, Conduct Application and Market Research
Develop and implement Promotion(s), photography, attribute, and applications.
Continuous Product Improvement, validation & first piece inspection
Catalog Management
(Supporting Responsibility): Responsible for the cataloging requirements of product line, including developing, creating, and maintaining Automotive Aftermarket Application Catalog(s), published and electronic, to Autocare Standards as well as requirements of other industry (ACES, PIES etc.) standards, customer, and electronic catalog services (Epicor etc.) requirements.
Evaluation, management, and analysis of OE information and research.
Research and mapping application carry-up coverage (Autocare ACES).
Maintain competitive and OEM interchanges.
Product image maintenance.
Maintaining and updating PIES as required.
Provide timely and accurate ACES and PIES exports to key customers.
Basic Qualifications
:
Bachelors AND 2 years of Product Management, or Product Development or Aftermarket Catalog Management OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
General Understanding of Automotive
Flexibility to support 10% Domestic/International Travel

Preferred Qualifications:
5 Years Automotive Aftermarket Product or Catalog Management Experience
High level Automotive Aftermarket and Autocare Standard knowledge
Product introduction knowledge and experience.
Experience with SAP
Automotive application knowledge.
Strong database management capability.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail & ability to multi-task.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
