Catalog Department Manager

JOB SUMMARY:This position is directly responsible for the management of the U.S. catalog team, creation, maintenance, accuracy, and distribution of catalog data and digital assets including both conventional “flat” images as well as 360-degree interactive images. This position is also a collaborative contributor to our Global Data Team.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain a detailed up-to-date, and thorough knowledge of product catalog data including but not limited to:
Automotive application informationCatalog conflicts and holes resolution.Product images and digital assets best practicesCurrent industry catalog standards and versions (Aces & Pies)Up-to-date data and image standards and delivery guidelines best practices of industry and data partners
Create catalog data for new products from application data from product development team.Receive, research, and respond to internal team concerns regarding catalog application data, coordinating with product management team.Manage the existing catalog and content team.Be responsive & proactive in managing requests and inquiries from internal management, sales team, and customers. Review and address customer inquiries in a timely manner.Oversee Catalog improvement projects to improve utilization and adoption of PADB, QDB, and other rich content and data enhancements.Ensure on-time delivery of catalog data updates in proper format with correct notation to customers.Administrate product images (conventional and 360 degree)Supervise catalog team of 2-5 people remotely or on site.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:5 Years catalog related experience (mapping, distribution, management, validation, research, etc.)Must be knowledgeable regarding automobile makes, models, submodels, drive types, engine sizes, transmission types, and other catalog attributes.AutoCare catalog standard knowledge (Aces, Pies, including related tables QADB, PADB, etc).Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Experience in auto industry catalog software.QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:Bachelor’s degree in data or information systems or equivalent experience.Automotive aftermarket catalog administration experienceJNP (PARTCAT) experience and proficiencyExperience administrating 360-degree product images.Attendance of at least 1 ACPN conferenceSupervisory experienceTRAVEL REQUIREMENT:Must travel nationally for ACPN, Other trips as necessary.May have to travel internationally for annual global organization meetings.Weekends and evenings as needed for job-related travel and special training or projects.
