About the Role:We are seeking an experienced
Supply Chain Program Manager
to join our Space Systems division, focusing on innovative satellite and space systems programs. This role involves both capturing new business opportunities and executing fixed-price development programs critical to the next era in responsive space. If you are passionate about aerospace advancements and thrive on the challenges of leading cutting-edge space programs, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Lead Space and Airborne Systems supply chain program management, aligning with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to drive strategic execution and achieve cost optimization.Utilize a cross-functional approach to identify and resolve supply chain challenges, implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Track program deliverables, highlight risks, and put mitigation plans in place, ensuring clear, regular reporting on program status.Analyze supplier capacity and capability to maintain optimal material flow, line fill, and inventory levels.Provide technical support for Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, evaluating engineering changes and assessing supply chain impact.Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring alignment with program and customer requirements.Engage directly with engineering, supply chain, and supplier teams, fostering collaboration to meet program milestones.Develop, track, and refine supply chain management metrics customized for space programs.Act as a high-level relationship manager, positioning the organization as a trusted partner within the aerospace community.RequirementsQualifications:Mastery in supply chain management or a related technical field; Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Graduate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Alternatively, 16+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.Demonstrated expertise in Program Management, particularly within the aerospace or defense sectors.Strong understanding of supply chain processes within the aerospace industry, with the ability to adapt to evolving program requirements.Preferred Skills:Active or eligible Secret clearance.Familiarity with diverse contract types, including FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, and Cost Reimbursement.Experience as a Cost Account Manager for Subcontracts, with a background in budget management and sales forecasting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to travel domestically to supplier sites as required.Benefits**Why Join Our Client?**We foster an inclusive, engaging environment where every team member is empowered to succeed.
