As a Field Application Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers in the field. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting product demonstrations, and providing training and support to customers and distributors. You will provide technical support to a cross functional sales team.

In this role, you will impact the success of our customers by ensuring the successful implementation and use of our products and solutions. You will play a critical role in building strong relationships with customers and providing them with exceptional service and support.

The annual base salary is $106,000 - $133,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support to customers in the field, internal sales team and distributors.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

Conduct VOC activities in support of Product Marketing

Work with Global Application Engineers in support of NPI rollouts and product training

50% - 60% local Midwest travel

MUST HAVE

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

WE VALUE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, or engineering

Experience with electronic components

Experience in customer-facing roles

Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
